1. A’s Game Fundraiser a. Raised $1723.45! Breakdown of funds: 303 tickets bought by CWOA - $3333 + $20(fee) - $3353.00 Food $ 629.55 Propane $ 27.00 Food ticket expenses
$ 67.00 Total Expense $4076.55 290 Ticket sold @ $20.00 each $5800.00 (Unsold tickets as follows: 4 to Color Guard, 2 to singer&backup singer, 1 to PA and 6 returned by Navy League at the last minute) $5800 - 4076.55 = $1723.45 b. Lessons Learned: 1. Advertise early, but don’t get the tickets until two weeks prior to the game 2. Get 250 tickets to sell upfront vice 500 as in the past 3. Designate jobs prior to set up on the day of the game 4. Sell only one section at a time vice having Coasties in separate sections 5.

Motions Made |
1. Motion made to set aside $500 as seed money for next year’s A’s game. Motion passed. 2. Upon realization that there are no record of an audit being performed on the chapter financial records a motion was made to have the chapter finances audited and completed by next scheduled meeting in August. Motion passed. |

New Business: |
1. Nomination of New Officers. The elections will be taking place in October. Please let CWO Kirby know if you are interested in holding a position or would like to nominate someone for a position. Terms are limited to two years which most of the board is reaching. 2. We are soliciting a committee chair for chapter officer nominations and CY2008 new officer installation ceremony scheduled for January 2008. |

Annual dues in the amount of $12.00 are being collected for 2006. Please send your check to the treasurer CWO Tony Pariga or you can become a lifetime member for only $50.00 and receive a chapter polo shirt and coffee mug. |
